summary
Ordained Baptist minister with
over 20 years of providing shepherding and leadership to every age.
Demonstrated strengths include: joyfully positive and Christ centered;
missional in nature and ministry orientation; energetic in bringing
processes that offer guidance to leaders and improve administration and
mission focus. A leader who always has more ideas than can be carried out,
but who enjoys helping a congregation see, plan and reach beyond its
status quo to its God-given possibilities.

Interim Certificate of Completion
The process involves a
self-study by the congregation that examines five
Developmental tasks:
Coming to Terms with History
Examining Leadership and
Decision-Making Concerns
Looking at Denominational and
Other External Relationships
Clarifying the Congregation's
Identity
Committing to New Clergy
Leadership and the Future
The methods of working with the tasks are
unique to each church. The outcomes of this work are a church profile and
a pastoral profile that will assist the Pastoral Search Committee in
finding a new pastor.

The Intentional Interim
Ministry with Immanuel Baptist Church (Greenville, NC)
A 20 month work in
reordering the identity and ministry priorities in a traditional
congregation
of 425 members. This is a 92 year old church with pastoral responsibilities
including preaching all services, pastoral care, and giving direction to 6
staff. During this time the congregation began a
second service, met the budget, increased attendance and added staff to
support growing ministry needs.
Bill brought a strong dedication to assisting our church in
discovering Gods will for us and gently helping us find Gods direction.
